- ÍtemLa Caricatura Como Herramienta Para Promover El Pensamiento Crítico En El Grado Octavo De La Institución Educativa Rosedal De Cartagena Bolívar(Fundación Universitaria Los Libertadores. Sede Bogotá., ) Arias Zúñiga, Yesica del Carmen; Martínez Padilla, Luz Aida; Cortes Dussan, German DuglasWith the development of this project it is intended to provide a solution to the following question, How to promote critical thinking in eighth grade students of the Institution Educativa Rosedal de Cartagena, from a didactic sequence based on the cartoon? This is what Zabala (2008) points out when he affirms that the Didactic Sequence, "It is a set of activities ordered, structured, and articulated for the achievement of educational objectives that have a beginning and an end known to both the teachers as well as the students”. (p. 16). The research aims to promote critical thinking, through the caricature in the eighth grade students of the Rosedal de Cartagena Educational Institution, since that this has a dynamic character loaded with symbolism that allows to capture the attention of each of the students, this can be used as a tool that leads to recreate new ways of thinking, in addition to potentiating critical-reflexive skills. The researchers Ferro Soto, Martínez Senra, & Otero Neira (2009), affirm that: In the information and knowledge society, entry and participation constant of subjects in written culture constitute fundamental challenges. People are faced with ever-increasing volumes of information, which demands of them, not only a comprehensive reading, but the construction of a their own criteria that allow them to select and filter the information that they consider relevant and that responds to their interests. (p.29).
