Sede Bogotá., ) Martínez Marín, Luz Inés; Sáchica Cepeda, Leidy CristinaThe Bernardo Arango Macías Educational Institution has been assuming the challenge of Inclusive Education for several years, one of the most important difficulties in this process has been the coexistence, integration and socialization in the recess, especially at the headquarters Manuela Beltrán where the students of the elementary school are located; which means that teachers and managers have to be continually resolving conflicts, in order to guarantee fairness and equality. At the Manuela Beltrán campus, the spaces for recreation are reduced in relation to the high number of students during the school day. In this resting space there are recurrent manifestations of exclusion with students that present some barrier to learning and participation, particularly with those who have a cognitive disability, who find it difficult to integrate with their classmates, because other children consider that they are incapable of learning, shy and withdrawn, a situation that leads them to distance themselves from the common interests of their age, injuring their selfesteem in some way and fostering possible attitudes of abuse and permissiveness, intolerance, rejection, and isolation. From the problems that are encountered, certain questions arise. How does recreation favor inclusion in recess, or other places of socialization for students with barriers for Learning and Participation in the Educational Institution Bernardo Arango Macías, headquarters Manuela Beltrán in the municipality of La Estrella? The proposal consists in the optimization of spaces in recess facilitating to the students ludicpedagogical material, floor and wall drawing games; besides the use of traditional games; we have a proposal for the implementation for games of chess, for that purpose we have a dedicated classroom and a teacher who guides the activity. In addition there will be literacy students, university physical education practitioners and sports promoters who are aware of the children who present difficulties in coexistence so that they can properly integrate and thus contribute to the improvement of the school environment.
