During the second decade of the 21st century, the countries of Latin America are governed by independent and different rules, which creates inconveniences when it is necessary to solve legal situations in the aeronautical environment in which several countries intervene. Therefore, the international civil aviation organization, ICAO in co-working with the Regional Cooperation System for Operational Safety Surveillance, SRVSOP developed the Latin American Aeronautical Regulation, LAR to be adopted in the regulation of each of the countries belonging to Latin America to promote regulatory standardization. The implementation of LAR regulation in Colombia requires a Colombian Aeronautical Regulation, RAC harmonization in which different parameters must be added, removed and modified so that they comply with the proposed standardization, for this reason and with the aim of promoting the development of the harmonization of Colombian regulation with Latin American standards, through documentary research, a proposal was made for the design of the manual of the MOM maintenance organization applicable to any maintenance company in the aeronautical sector that is carrying out the process to obtain the operation certificate of the Approved Maintenance Organization, OMA, being the MOM, a main requirement to comply with the certification process and being the OMA one of the parameters of the LAR regulation that must be met according to part 145 of the harmonization of the Colombian regulation, therefore, all Colombian aeronautical maintenance companies must undergo this process.
