Sede Bogotá., ) Llantén Guzmán, Diana Caterine; Carvajal Quintero, Lady Johana; Pérez Benítez, Johan HernánWhile searching an alternative to help reduce plastic waste pollution, it emerges the need to design and implement pedagogical proposals that contribute to improve physical spaces in educational institutions, this paper aims to design and run pedagogical strategies that allow to reduce the use of packings or synthetic polymers in fifth and sixth grades at Quinapejo Rural high school that is located in Puerto Guzmán municipality (Putumayo-Colombia), it is based on the analysis of an environmental problem in the target context related on how these types of waste are managed. This project will be developed through the descriptive type of qualitative approach and will be performed in three methodology phases, so they are: at first, a diagnosis of the focused problem will be carried out, it will be used as data collection instruments; direct observation that will allow to collect detailed information of the daily school routine of students during school days, a diagnosis will be done through a written survey with open and closed questions in relation to the use of synthetic polymers and finally the field journal, where the most outstanding facts that contribute to the research will be written down. As second, an environmental management proposal will be framed using scholar campaigns with cartoons done by the target groups and will be showed in the high school spaces; hence, it aims to contribute to solve the problem evidenced because of the wrong management that is given to synthetic polymers. The last phase has to do with running the proposal, that is, the design of biodegradable packings from organic raw materials in the region.
