Sede Bogotá., ) García Renuma, Luz Edith,; Lizarazo Hurtado, Emérita;; Nocua Sarmiento, Efraín AlonsoThe objective of this proposal was to design a didactic strategy mediated by technological tools that would contribute to the strengthening of the reading comprehension in Spanish of the Sikuani students of the third grade of the El Trompillo de La Primavera Educational Center (Vichada). To achieve this, the strategy was designed through virtual learning environments using ICT, taking into account the feedback of Spanish with the Sikuani language, to develop different skills and strategies of the teaching - learning process and thus achieve a good understanding and analysis of texts and to be able to demonstrate the fruitful result of their achievements. The difficulty in reading comprehension in Sikuani students of the third grade of the El Trompillo Educational Center, is a situation that has been observed since years ago and is reflected in the low academic performance due to the great difficulty in understanding texts in Spanish and even more, when they are evaluated at the national level in Tests KNOW 3, 6 and 9, especially in relation to the analysis of the characterization of reading. All this failure leads him to fail to comply with the activities assigned to them in the different areas of knowledge.
