Sede Bogotá., ) Lenis Ibarguen, Víctor David; Palacios Rivas, Diana Luisa; Forigua Parra, John EdwardHistorically, reading comprehension has been based since the 1920s, being the pioneer in this subject Huey (1908), different behaviorist authors of the time considered that reading comprehension consisted in verbalizing the ideas of the author of the text, until the 1960s and 1970s, professionals in the field considered it as a decoding process where teachers posed questions in a literal way and it was not necessary to make inferences or critical analysis of the text. In this sense, teaching reading and writing has always been a priority in education, since they are essential linguistic skills to perform actively in society, but reading comprehension processes cannot be left aside, since the diversity of information that reaches students with different intentions, as a result of the increase of new technologies, makes it necessary for them to be able to understand different types of texts and at the same time be critical of them. That is why one of the main objectives of this research is to implement methodological strategies that help students' reading comprehension inside and outside the classroom. In this order of ideas, inferences and hypotheses can strengthen reading comprehension. hypotheses can strengthen reading comprehension, so that students can develop their previous knowledge with what they are learning. knowledge with the knowledge they are learning, since it will allow them to learn from everyday situations in their academic everyday situations in their academic and social environment.

Sede Bogotá., ) Lenis Ibarguen, Víctor David; Riasco Mondragón, Adiel; Barrera Lievano, Dayana CatherineThe Babilla Zanjón del Burro wetland in the city of Cali has been affected by the loss of forest cover, water contamination and the lack of environmental education strategies that strengthen the protection and appropriation of this resource. School Environmental Education Projects address environmental problems related to the context of the territory and educational institutions. The Luis Madina Industrial Educational Center, despite executing a PRAE, which allows the academic community to reflect on the priority of a healthy environment in its surroundings, does not present a design that generates mainstreaming with a prioritized environmental problem of the territory. In this work, an environmental education strategy is presented in accordance with the problems that the territory raises and within which the C.E.I Luis Madina is involved given its nature of training the citizen of the future. Based on the qualitative-descriptive method and with a territorial projective approach, a search for secondary information was carried out in databases and interviews carried out in Google-forms with 11 teachers from C.E.I Luis Madina and an official from DAGMA; An analysis of the results was generated in the SWOT matrix to determine the components to include within the intervention strategies. The intervention strategy was developed knowing the Babilla wetland, protecting my environment Luis Madina that can disseminate in the students of the CEI Luis Madina, the importance of wetlands for the mitigation of climate change, as well as the environmental and cultural role of the Babilla Zanjón del Burro wetland.
