Because of this, it becomes important to try to understand the psychological and sociocultural aspects of this phenomenon. This research deals with first look. Initially, to explain drug dependency, they were taken as a reference theory Donal W. Winnicott's theories on early emotional development, object relations and transitional phenomena and objects, this being what allows the maturation and mental health of a subject as well as the ability to relate to others objects, develop their creativity and have a rewarding life. Subsequently, it considered the theory and work of the authors I. Berenstein and J. Puget, regarding the structure couple bonding. In this text it was argued that failures in primary maternal concern imply directly failures in the development of transitional phenomena and objects, becoming this in a cause of the development of a drug dependency, where the drug is becomes a transitional pseudo-object and at the same time, how these failures of the maternal care determines the way in which the subject establishes and/or creates his bonds, between them the bond of couple
