Sede Bogotá., ) Jerez Monsalve, Luz Mayerly; Mora Guerrero, Sonia Lili; Jaimes Montañez, Arelis; Rodríguez Pérez, María VictoriaThe project objective was to design a didactic strategy for the mathematical abilities and skills development that would allow significant learning in second grade students at Colegio Calasanz Cúcuta. A methodology based on the qualitative approach was proposed, in order to make a real approximation with the participants. The participants were second grade 34 students from the educational institution, aged between 7 and 8 years. Different recreational, didactic and digital tools were used to promote learning within a motivating environment. The results defined the guidelines of the didactic strategy that would contribute to the strengthening of mathematical learning. The didactic sequence was focused on the appropriation of the multiplication tables, through the game and the use of the AC methodology, to integrate real and digital material, as a motivating element in the classroom. Finally, the necessary evaluation and monitoring mechanisms were proposed to measure the process of improving learning in second grade students.
