- ÍtemEstrategias ambientales para la conservación de la quebrada San Benito municipio de Popayán: caso de estudio con estudiantes del grado sexto de la Institución Educativa Calibío(Fundación Universitaria Los Libertadores. Sede Bogotá., ) Viveros Serna, Marisol; Hurtado Chantre, Alondra Juliana; Pérez Benítez, Johan HernánAnthropic activities have derived a big number of negative environmental agents on biotic and abiotic natural resources, hence the importance of environmental education, new proposals for sustainable development and the role as educators in today's society. The objective of this work was to implement environmental educational strategies with students of the sixth grade of the Educational Institution Calibío municipality of Popayán, in order to conserve the Quebrada San Benito and promote environmental values. Under the Participatory Action Research (PAI) with a qualitative approach, strategies were designed to highlight the biological importance of the water resource and its impact on the social development of nearby communities, raising awareness of habits that allow mitigating water pollution. During the contextualization of the environmental problem, the partial ignorance of the negative environmental agents presented so far by the community development processes was evidenced, therefore, this type of projects allows us to reflect on the relationship and responsibility of anthropic actions along with the impact of these on the environment and the need to promote environmental education from an early age.
