Sede Bogotá., ) Hernández Vargas, Sandra Liliana; Sánchez Rojas, César AugustoThe current problem of Colombian society is caused by the deficit of education and generation of opportunities, through which young people can emerge and in some way forge their life project. It is important to strengthen the bases in the child population by applying play as a tool in the learning process, achieving their interaction in the appropriation of the concepts so that they are put into practice, it has been shown that the game facilitates learning, as is well know children learn best by playing, with the implementation of this methodology and the results obtained from this research will create new strategies for the quality of education. The development of research regarding the application of play as a literacy process in the initial cycle degree, has as its main objective to implement strategies linking the game as a pedagogical element for the strengthening of reading and writing in children of the initial school cycle City of Villavicencio Headquarters B, in this proposal the educational community will participate children, parents and teachers. Using the qualitative approach as a type of research, its institutional line with the application of media and media pedagogy, towards the conceptualization of interdisciplinary research lines which leads us to implement and transmit knowledge through interaction and inclusion of playful activities through the generation of play spaces, developing in children the ability to reason and make decisions. A scheme is proposed as a solution to this problem, by means of which a book of stories will be elaborated, which will serve as a tool for children to express their ideas and experiences, giving them the freedom to dream and express themselves freely, always with the support of his family nucleus and with the advice of his teacher, who weekly revise and direct, finalized its elaboration the children will expose before his companions the thematic one used in the elaboration of book.
