This research work focuses on determining how literature influences the strengthening of school coexistence Literature is considered a tool that gives students the possibility of learning dynamically, working in turn on various activities which are aimed at improving their environment and surroundings. The center of this research work is to know how much literature influences the contribution and strengthening of the school environment in the 28 students of the transition grade, whose ages are between 5 and 6 years of the Institución Educativa Alfredo Bonilla Montaño that is in the municipality of Jamundí, to the southwest of the department del Valle del Cauca. The purpose of this research has been to design a pedagogical tool focused on recreational activities to improve, through children's reading, the coexistence of students within the classroom. This was carried out under the qualitative method, to solve the difficulties regarding the improvement of coexistence in the students that make up the sample; Playful activities that are part of the proposal are described: School coexistence, we are going to improve These activities were designed under the action-research methodology, which allows understanding and solving the problems raised, posing in turn, the way to do intervention in the group of students inside and outside the classroom. The approach used was made seeking the development of an inductive method, which allows the observation of the facts within the educational institution for their registration; the classification and study of these facts; the inductive derivation that starts from the facts and allows us to reach a generalization; and the contrast, to later draw the own conclusions. It is necessary for the implementation of this strategy in favor of school coexistence, to link the families of the students, with the intention of making a sum of efforts, achieving a joint work that achieves in the students the process of change in the behavioral attitude and the improvement in the school environment. When analyzing the influence of literature on school coexistence in students, direct observation techniques were implemented, which allows to record in an organized way the advances that are registered visually, analyzing, and explaining the observed facts of the objects under study; and the Analysis Log, which allows the reflection of the researcher immersed in the proposal and from there intervene in the problem in greater depth. Due to the results obtained, the intervention was carried out in the group of students, to teach them the importance of respect and empathy that should be felt for their peers, reinforcing the values and potentials of each of them, to improve the coexistence between colleagues.
