Then the need arises to strengthen the reading comprehension process through activities prior to reading that lead the student to experience an authentic reading experience. Based on the above, a didactic learning sequence of six sessions was formulated taking the fantastic tale as a reference. The proposal established qualitative research as a paradigm under the action-research methodological design. First, a exploratory interview and a survey of teachers were carried out. Then a didactic learning sequence was designed to put into practice. The results showed that the proposal favored the active participation of students in the process of comprehension and creation of fantastic texts.
