Sede Bogotá., ) Polo Ahumada, Ana María; González Padilla, Fanny Cecilia; Cortes Dussan, German DuglasThe present research work aims to design a pedagogical proposal to strengthen environmental education in the apprentices of the energy headquarters of SENA (National Learning Service), Colombian-German National Center (CNCA) of the regional Atlántico – Colombia, using project-based learning (ABP). This arises from the need to strengthen the environmental education of the apprentices of the headquarters reflected in three aspects: Inadequate disposal of solid waste, inadequate use of water resources and lack of of belonging to the care of their environment. The research approach is mixed due to which consists of collecting, analyzing and integrating quantitative and qualitative data. The sample was from a group of 25 headquarters trainees studying technology in industrial electricity and They are in their third trimester of academic training. For the development of this study, A survey and a documentary review matrix were used as research instruments. The strategy consists of eleven training sessions where apprentices will have to face a challenge that consists of designing different dynamic activities to make their colleagues from other groups about the problems identified in the Institution. With this intervention strategy is intended to strengthen environmental education in values such as solidarity, cooperation, autonomy, responsibility, tolerance, and justice, bases to have more friendly practices with the environment. The conclusion is that, if possible adapt the project-based learning strategy to design pedagogical strategies focused on strengthening environmental education, therefore, the implementation of It is for further evaluation.
