Sede Bogotá., ) González Pérez, Lilia Esther; Cortes Dussan, German DuglasDuring the development of this project, a pedagogical strategy was addressed to conserve the biodiversity associated with the municipality of Tierralta Córdoba, recognizing the importance of its use and benefits, contributing to the reduction of the environmental impact caused by the mismanagement of natural resources, through teaching and learning based on the environmental problems of the environment, promoting an environmental culture focused on the conservation of biodiversity with a view to sustainable development. This project aims to design a pedagogical strategy to conserve biodiversity and reduce the loss of medicinal plants in the municipality of Tierralta Córdoba, through qualitative research with a qualitative approach, developed with 40 students, 2 classroom teachers, 1 teaching director and 15 parents of the Educational Institution March 19, applying research methods such as interviews and questionnaires. The interview allows to identify if the institution promotes the conservation of the biodiversity of the municipality and what are the methods used for this purpose, in the same way the questionnaires give access to the previous knowledge that the educational community has regarding the use and importance of the medicinal plants and biodiversity. These findings imply the design of an assertive and effective pedagogical strategy that leads to the conservation of biodiversity and the reduction of the loss of medicinal plants in the municipality of Tierralta, thus reducing the associated environmental problems.
