- ÍtemEstrategia de intervención para el abordaje del turismo no regulado como situación de manejo en el Parque Nacional Natural Los Nevados(Fundación Universitaria Los Libertadores. Sede Bogotá., ) Táutiva Castaño, María Camila; Giraldo Castañeda, Carolina; Pérez Benítez, Johan HernánThe initiative to get to know the country’s natural attractions, and to enjoy the contemplation of these same, definitely grows daily. Hence why some of the territories, and communities related to Colombian both, non ecological and ecological tourism (ecotourism), have recently incremented their amount of visitors. For instance, we can see the “Parque Nacional Natural Los Nevados (PNN Los Nevados)” which has lead to know the criteria that might impulse the touristic aspect of certain territories, even if there still are some factors that cannot be known due to a high risk of danger if performed like for example: uncertain climatic, atmospherical, volcanic, geological or public order, conditions. The lack of information regarding Colombia’s protected areas with ecotourism vocation provided in the media, results in tourists insisting on accessing these territories without any sort of restrictions or previous recommendations, and performing these activities ends up increasing the amount of visitors on these unregulated areas, and therefore affecting negatively the ecosystem’s integrity as well as the life quality of the communities installed there. Bearing in mind what was already mentioned above, it was decided to seek for an effective strategy that allows the analysis of the population’s behavior regarding non regulated tourism, and creates awareness about this topic based on the possible consequences derived from non responsible tourism. For starters, it is needed to identify every factor that motivates visitors to irregularly access the “Parque Nacional Natural Los Nevados (PNN Los Nevados)” and to verify the background of the failed measures previously executed, in order to prevent this type of entrance again in the future, with the use of resources such as interviews, observation and accompaniment for groups with educational, recreational and investigative purposes.
