Sede Bogotá., ) García Villamizar, Magali; Verbel Vanegas, Orleidis; Mancera Baquero., JennyferThe following methodological proposal is intended to help students of the degree third, basic primary education at the Puerto Viejo Educational Institution in the municipality of Santiago de Tolú Sucre, in the correction of errors regarding literacy, pronunciation, spelling and appropriate use of language in order to develop its appearance cognitive, from the formation of the syllabic family that is the starting point to progress the advances of this important subject, the basis of communication for the correct understanding of new knowledge, and thus contribute to their academic training. In order to design, implement and strengthen an innovative strategy capable of develop reading and writing skills. For this, it was essential to identify the needs related to literacy skills, design and implement a strategy that involved an adequate pedagogical intervention and favored meaningful learning. This study is justified by the need to implement a strategy capable of dynamize the teaching and learning processes for the acquisition and development of reading and writing skills that would involve an adequate pedagogical intervention integrating the learning and that will contribute to improving the quality of education. The techniques of observation that were implemented were the diagnostic tests of entry and exit applied to third grade students and the surveys applied to parents and Teachers of the first grades of primary school
