Sede Bogotá., ) García Forero, Cindy Carolina; Alonso Gonzalez, Julian AndresThis project is aimed at strengthening the self-determination of 9 adults located in the city of Bogotá, is carried out based on the use of various strategically focused pedagogical tools where different workshops that contribute to the personal and work aspects of its members which have cognitive and in some cases physical disabilities, which is why they are not only integrated labor development workshops if not spaces for social recreation, recreation and health. In addition to this, it becomes of great importance to take this proposal to the educational context. in which these adults will undertake jewelery projects which will be carried out in on a monthly basis, this with the purpose of teaching them to function in the world of work and economic, since we must bear in mind that many of these adults do not have nuclei solid family members or stable economic contexts, so this strategy gives them a tool that contributes to their autonomous development in which they must sell each project that they do themselves, thus allowing greater social and economic participation independent. For this project, contributions were taken from authors such as Lucas (2013), Kymlicka. W (1995) Sant' Ana Pedra. A (2014). After carrying out this strategy, it has been possible to show that self-care routines and workshops can be implemented that strengthen the active participation of these adults, despite the attachment on the part of the parents and the evident overprotection can come to play an important role in terms of the autonomy of these individuals, therefore the strategy had a positive response from the adults in question but the context although the family context was also involved, it can limit the development a bit of these autonomous abilities
