Sede Bogotá., ) Díaz Vásquez, Sixta Tulia; Gómez Sánchez, Miryam Del Rosario; Sánchez Rojas, César AugustoThe project "the game: a strategy to learn to live in the school environment in the second grade children of the educational institution Liceo La Pradera in the city of Monteria, has as a general objective to design games that serve as a strategy to learn to live in the school, family and social environment in the second grade children of the Educational Institution Liceo La Pradera of the City of Monteria, Córdoba. For the realization of the project, a methodology was used with a qualitative approach within the Pedagogy, Didactics and Childhood line, whose main axis is Didactics. It is a type of descriptive research, whose method is the Action research. The population studied in this study is made up of 175 second-grade boys and girls; of which 70 children were taken as sample with ages between nine to ten years. For the purpose of collecting the data, two techniques were used, the survey and the field diary. As theoretical body to explain the games as a strategy for school coexistence were taken the theoretical approaches of Vygotsky, Acosta, Decroly, Wallon, Wilfred Carr, Gutierrez, Jiménez, Huizinga, Bolivar, and Martinez. As a result of the research it was possible to determine and understand that regulated and group games constitute an important strategy in the learning of the values of coexistence, based on dialogue and reflection. Finally, it was concluded that the designed strategy should be included and developed in the subjects of physical education, recreation and sports, education in values and artistic as an expression of play.
