Sede Bogotá., ) Fuentes Fuentes, María Emilce; Fuentes Fuentes, Marisol; Danna Buitrago, Jenny PaolaThe present research study aims to describe in a pertinent way the importance of Tics in the teaching-learning processes in mathematics in boys and girls of the fourth grade of primary school of the Francisco José De Caldas School, Pandi Cundinamarca, in relation to the perception of students and teachers. Therefore, the objective was to analyze academic performance in mathematics and the use of ICT, from the perception of students and fourth grade teachers, before and during the pandemic. This study allows the approach and discernment of the use of ICT in the various academic spaces, its relationship with research, the use of Platforms, applications, the implementation of Educational Technological Mediations, and playful activities mediated by tics in the process of motivation to improve skills and competencies in the area of mathematics in basic operations. The study responds to a descriptive quantitative approach. Two surveys were applied; an online structured survey of 13 teachers from the different campuses and a structured survey of 29 students, in addition to two mathematical challenges of 5 and 6 questions, tests to know icfes 7 to students of the fourth grade of primary school that emphasize the knowledge acquired before and during the FDI Pandemic Francisco José de Caldas, Alliance headquarters for the Progress. The results show that the educational institution does not have financial and technical resources, nor does it train teachers in the use of technology for virtual teaching, which affects student performance. From the perspective of the latter, they felt that they did not understand or learn during the pandemic, and that primary education was carried out through the guide, and the feedback was only through WhatsApp. Previous research indicates that fourth grade students' math skills as learning objects need to be strengthened, so it is necessary to design a teaching program that uses ICT as intermediaries. The use of solutions to avoid that there are still gaps in different topics in the level, which leads to greater learning problems in the application of mathematical skills
