Sede Bogotá., ) Flórez Vergara, Oscar Javier; Motta Rodríguez, GustavoFrom the composition and execution of three songs for children, a pedagogical and didactic intervention is born from the need to overcome the difficulties in the learning processes within the classrooms of the Marco Tulio Fernandez I.E.D. School, headquarters B, related to writing. This proposal compromises a series of didactic strategies that focus on music as the main resource of the reconstruction and resignification of knowledge to find the best way to implement learning environments that allows enhancing communication skills by developing writing. Starting by reflecting about the musical diversity that the children are exposed to inside their sociocultural context, and about the conception and knowledge that the teachers have at an institutional level about music as a didactic tool inside the classroom, a series of activities are constructed form the lyrics and musical elements that these songs have. Having the pedagogical intervention in the classroom as the main strategy, this study is carried out with students of cycle II from elementary education, where the greatest difficulties are shown, and which is evidenced in the academic results, based on the improvement of communicational skills, increasing creativity and focusing on transforming the social and cultural context in a positive way.
