Sede Bogotá., ) Feliciano Rincón, Nayibe Isabel; Hidalgo Clavijo, Tania Emilse; Hernando Alexander Cortés Ibáñez; Hernández Riaño, Yesid ManuelThe third grade students of the Carlo Federici School present a generalized problem and it is the low level of accompaniment of parents at school, which is a situation that requires intervention, because the family plays a very important role in the educational process and formative, it is not the exclusive responsibility of teachers and students, at the elementary school level essentially three actors participate, two of them fundamental, such as students and teachers, however, the figure of parents acquires relevance taking into account the stage development of children, since they require constant accompaniment and guidance from adults or caregivers, hence this work seeks to involve them by promoting community participation initiatives in pedagogical processes from the knowledge of parents and for our In particular, we choose traditional games. The situation lies in how to transform not only educational practices, but also disciplinary discourse using an available and invaluable tool, such as parents and their knowledge, therefore, through the development of a work guide oriented from the school, whose main theme is the implementation of traditional games, which are part of the knowledge of adults, it is sought that the caregivers of children increase their interaction with them, but especially with the school since the work is carried out in joint form. The research approach is qualitative and the type is action research. The problem was evidenced through the analysis of recording instruments such as the student observer and the minutes of meetings. The expected result is a significant increase in the participation of parents in the educational process of children. Likewise, it is planned to produce a guide that contributes to the meaningful and functional approach between parents and the school.
