Sede Bogotá., ) Espitia Villamil, Luz Dary; Flórez Huertas, Nelson EnriqueThe discipline intervention project “Playful as strategy to identify and minimize the use of rude words in sixth grade students from Marruecos y Molinos I.E.D. school in Bogotá” comes from the constant observation and worry because of the form in which students communicate among them and the way they do. During the search of a solution to this problem, it is proposed at the first stage to do a simple diagnosis to detect how close students are to those terms (rude words), the circumstances in which they use them, who they use them with and why they use them; the objective is to implement a playful tool that let do activities during the academic exercise to know the negative implication that those expressions have as well as the consequences of using them. The implementation of this tool consist in the creation of a performance through a character or MIMO who will be called “Palabrotas”. This character will “shoot” rude words to his classmates (also mimo actors) whom will hurt them or will break their hearts, another actor will decide and encourage the spectators to expel “Palabrotas” from school due to the bad things he does. The use of playful practices, as drama in this case, give students elements that develop their physical, oral, creative artistic, communicative and aesthetic abilities. Starting from this point, there is a reflection about the importance of arts not only in the improvement of the academic processes but also convivial.
