The actions taken today Will have repercussionas inthe future on the conservation of soil, air and wáter resources and Will allow the Pork Industry to be friendly to the environment. Taking into account the characteristics that pig manure offers to improve the quality of the soil and therefore in agricultural production, the possibility of implementing a composting system that allows taking advantage of its benefits and that reduces the negative impact of its poor management arises. In addition, it allows to control the presence of vectors that can be a source of disease-causing pathogens within pig farms such as flies, rodents, among others, because the humidity and temperature of the excreta generate an ideal environment for their production, reproduction and cause inconvenience both for people and for the animals themselves. Finally, it can be concluded that a correct management of excreta allows to have a healthy and innocuous meat product for the well-being of the consumer, an economic support for the pig Farmer because the result of composting is an optimal organic fertilizer for crops and the awareness of the pig farmer with Regarding the importance it has at an environmental level, being the main actor that intervenes to reduce negative impacts and improve its relationship with consumers and the environment.
