Sede Bogotá., ) De la Ossa Fernández, Paola Sofia; Silva Mariño, Ivonne Amanda; Alonso González, Julián AndrésThis proposal seeks to counteract the low reading rates among the segment of children and girls from the ABC Integrated High School, since the vast majority of primary and secondary school students secondary assume as the only source of reading the institutional texts as a requirement curriculum. The present investigative work is aimed at students acquiring habits of reading, become readers and not readers, that is, that they are boys and girls who have the ability to understand what they read, and manage to reach the inferential level in a text certain. In this sense, the "Explorers" tool seeks to improve reading processes in a modern and dynamic way through ICTs as an alternative to contribute in a dynamic way in learning. The methodology of this proposal consists of developing a diagnostic test with the in order to identify the levels of reading comprehension in students. will be implemented later a technological tool called "Explorers" whose main objective is strengthen reading processes in an interactive and didactic way. Finally there will be a second diagnostic test in order to establish the results obtained around the comprehension of the reading done.
