- ÍtemPsicología y asistencialismo : concepción de un sujeto asistido en el programa familias en acción(Fundación Universitaria Los Libertadores. Sede Bogotá., ) Contreras Riaño, Andrés Leonardo;; Quesada Vanegas, Gustavo AdolfoIn Colombia, one of the social problems with the greatest impact is poverty. By showing in our country a panorama of hardship and misery, in which thousands of families unfortunately remain, it shows us that something is not right; that class difference cannot afford death as the foundation of economic and social development. Citizens as participants in State policies, we assume the consequences that indirectly any action of these may entail. It is remarkable how social inequality rates are in our country of the highest in the world: DANE reports that by 2012 (Survey of quality of life) 42.4% of Colombian households are considered poor (DANE, 2013). They would look like figures from another environment, in which, the image of misery takes on stronger nuances. But it is the Colombian reality, in which the minimum wage is very small, in reference to the cost of household needs. This is our environment. Considering that few enjoy high-level comforts, some manage to accommodate the demands of life and others can barely overcome hunger and cold.
