- ÍtemLa oralidad del Pueblo Nasa de Jambaló, como Estrategia Didáctica para la Comprensión Lectora(Fundación Universitaria Los Libertadores. Sede Bogotá., ) Chagüendo Gembuel, Edilia; Arias Dorado, Martha Isabel; Rengifo Guerrero, ElizabethThis current investigation aims at improving the reading comprehension of fifth-graders at a branch called Laguna of the main School in the municipality and indigenous community of Jambalo. This study was carried out through a didactic strategy based on the oral tradition, and own education in the Nasa territory to contribute to overcoming the students’ language learning difficulty, low reading comprehension. This qualitative research follows an action research methodology emphasizing hermeneutics. It is connected to improving cultural aspects and the significance of the oral tradition because it provides the opportunity for students to participate actively in collecting narratives regarding the cultural context. It was developed through the following four phases: gathering data, semi-structured interview with six ancestors of the community, a pretest, posttest, the tests were applied to nine students of fifth grade, and journals to describe the most relevant aspects throughout the process. The findings found in the interviews were systematized to have a pile of literature creations to be added to the didactic strategy called “Abrigando la Palabra” plus several activities based on own Nasa cultural moments taking into consideration different instruments and other theories towards didactics to achieve the objectives of the study. Finally, the conclusions of this investigation showed the achievements, difficulties, and knowledge reflected in the journals through a pedagogical book full of narratives, experiences, and oral traditions. It has activities that are divided into three reading levels for the fifth graders of the Nasa indigenous community.
