Sede Bogotá., ) Celis Rey, José Humberto; Paeres Aguirre, Ana MaríaThe management of solid waste and its serious problems in the natural environment are some of the triggers that make it necessary to search within educational institutions for tools that effectively help members of the community to focus their interest in management. adequate of them, in such a way that the environmental culture that is in a state of deficient formation manages to take an adequate orientation for the benefit of the educational community, and ultimately, of the environment in general, because if they are adequately oriented and identify in what their weaknesses consist of and the way in which they can turn them into opportunities, this will serve as a starting point for making conscious decisions in the face of a problem that has the world on the verge of collapse, since as the years have passed the amount of waste produced by each person has been increasing. The serious thing is that a high percentage of the waste that is produced can be reused; hence the importance of proper management of them, this being proposed through the school PGIRS, in which all members of the educational community can participate making the institution a model in managing them and an example before the Municipality, by reducing the waste generated daily by a high percentage.

From this perspective, the project arises the use of ICT for the strengthening of didactic strategies in the area of Social Sciences, whose purpose is to guide and provide teachers with the possibility of improving their classroom practices, creating more dynamic learning environments. interactive to strengthen the teaching and learning process of their students. For this purpose, a proposal of pedagogical intervention called the one that implies the elaboration of didactic material, and the implementation of a web page with didactic resources in the area of Social Sciences for dynamization of the learning process; also look for students to frequently use resources such as email, exchange documents with online files, among other technological tools. Thus, the work presented is based on a type of qualitative research, with a descriptive approach, is enrolled in the institutional line pedagogies, media and mediations and the line of the Faculty of education Pedagogies, didactics and childhood, because it is a pedagogical and educational work.
