Sede Bogotá., ) Cebay Cordoba, Diana Katerine; Flórez, Roberto Clemente; Pérez, Stella Patricia; Mendoza Moreno, KilldermanThis document provides information on the intervention proposal (PID) that established as a problem the shortcomings in reading comprehension presented by the students of the 5th grade of the Policarpa Salavarrieta Educational Institution, headquarters in Montería - Cordova. In the Saber tests of the year 2014, in critical reading 42% of the students were at the minimum level and 13% at Insufficient, although their incidence was little valued until the results of the year 2019 were observed, in which the critical reading score was of 50.1, where the value scale is from 0 to 100 and the highest possible score is 100 thus evidencing problems in this communicative competence. The proposal will be developed through a qualitative approach, with the aim of describe the positive and negative aspects of the use of the virtual learning environment in the strengthening of the reading comprehension of the students, data that will be extracted from the survey, the field observation and the input-output matrix that yielded some results that will be analyzed and incorporated into the platform to structure it, improve it and adapt it to the interests of the learners. The purpose of this proposal is to improve the reading comprehension through a virtual learning environment applied to a program of playful activities that help the learner to overcome difficulties through tools creative, dynamic and innovative; thus looking for playful strategies in the passage of teaching and learning that allow the improvement of education
