Sede Bogotá., ) Castellanos Méndez, Claudia Patricia; Mancera Baquero, JennyferCelestin Freinet families have been heavily affected socially and economically by the COVID-19 pandemic which has generated serious academic problems, in terms of integration and coexistence in school context. For this reason it is necessary an intervention that contributes to the solution of the communicative and social needs that impact both in the classroom and in the family and by the same point in the society. The purpose of this current proposal is to design a play-based learning strategy that allows 53 fifth graders from Colegio de Educación Técnica y Académica Celestin Freinet to externalize emotions through oral reading of poetic texts. That is why as an alternative, it is proposed the implementation of workshops developed individually, by groups, with families and by using ICTs where children and their families manage to enhance communicative and oral competence. In order to achieve meaningful learning where creativity, imagination and the enjoyment of literature are experienced. Two rubrics are formulated, one based on levels that allows diagnosis and monitoring and contemplating the following aspects: Recognition and understanding of what is written, diction, gesticulation, rhythm. The rubric that is proposed for testing is outlined through achievements (high, basic and low) and attends to the following aspects: reading monitoring, diction, gesticulation, rhythm and fluency, volume and intensity.
