For this reason, it is expected to give teamwork and the joint collaboration of teachers with their students, the possibility of promoting the creation of training projects that boost existing academic strategies, while innovating learning environments and conform the traditional teaching methodologies to the true needs of the learners. Thus, the importance that this topic addresses in relation to the fulfillment of the research lies in strengthening the skills of mathematical thinking in the children of the first cycle of the educational institution. Antonio Nariño “pearl headquarters” in the municipality of Ataco Tolima; through teaching methodologies based on playful practices, appropriate to meet the new learning expectations that students currently request and which no teacher should take for granted when creating new learning environments that improve physical conditions and mental of the students.
