Sede Bogotá., ) Cardales Barrios, Yorlenis; Cortes Dussan, German DuglasThe generation of solid waste is considered as a problem that has caused negative environmental impacts, and that is increasing, associated with the increase in the human population, the processes of industrial transformation (globalization), and the consumption habits of the individuals. The present disciplinary intervention project (PID) will be carried out with the basic secondary school students of the Paso Nuevo Afro-Colombian Ethno-educational Institution, located in the Corregimiento of Paso Nuevo, jurisdiction of the municipality of San Bernardo del Viento, in the department of Córdoba, with which it seeks to design an environmental educational proposal for comprehensive solid waste management in the secondary school of the Educational Institution, it will be developed, taking a qualitative approach and the type of descriptive research, making a diagnosis of the knowledge that students have. on the inadequate management of waste, its benefits within the institution, the negative impacts it generates and its classification, in order to establish the necessary strategies such as talks, field practice, socialization. It is very useful to use instruments such as surveys, observation logs and workshops for training students to generate changes in their behaviors and habits. In addition, a comparative analysis will be carried out by making observations and photographic records of the points where the students most frequently carry out their activities, some pedagogical strategies will be reviewed in order to carry out a follow-up and evaluation that allows modifying and improving over time, for later be shared on a global scale and generate a positive and significant impact.
