Sede Bogotá., ) Cala Rodríguez, Ana María del Pilar; Sáchica Cepeda, Leidy CristinaThe present Project emerge from the difficulty that eleven grade students of Colegio Brasilia Bosa IED in Bogotá present to handle the necessary elements to have an adequate performance in reading comprehension and text production skills, whence it is decided to search for strategies that allow to contribute in the development of the already said skills from the work done in music class, but taking in account the valuable contribution that from other artistic disciplines can be used. With the purpose of give a solution alternative to the set out problem it is designed an intervention strategy named “Te la escribo, y también te la canto” that aims to bring the young boys and girls close to the language processes through the composition of songs that allow, not only the practical use of linguistic elements, but also the possibility of finding an expressive way that serves as a channel to foment the development of their creative capabilities. In this way, it is expected that the present work proposal for the classroom, the students to whom the project is addressed to could have a more pleasant approach to reading comprehension and text production, generating learning processes more significant and effective.
