Sede Bogotá., ) Bolívar Rodríguez, Jaime Alberto; Sánchez Rojas, César AugustoThe present intervention project focuses its interest on the issue of values and their strengthening based on traditional games. The project arises, due to the difficulties observed in the third grade students (3) of the Santo Tomás Chia school, evidenced in constant calls of attention of the professors to the students and therefore in the little practice of the values of respect and tolerance within the group. Taking into account the above, the project raised as a guiding question: How do traditional games strengthen the development of values, respect and tolerance in the children of the third grade of the school santo tomas de chia?, Drawing as a general objective: Apply traditional games as an intervention tool to enrich the recognition and practice of the value of respect and tolerance of children of third grade of primary school of santo tomas chía. To achieve this goal the playful strategy was designed: Knowing and Playing is Learning, Valuing and Respect, composed of three phases (Phase 1: Value and respect, Phase 2: knowing and Playing and Phase 3: Learning) and the development of didactic sequences framed in the playful and traditional games as the main mediation. Finally, the work was enrolled in the line of Institutional research: Evaluation, teaching and curriculum and the line of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, called Pedagogies, didactics and Infants.
