- ÍtemEstrategia digital para el desarrollo de las habilidades comunicativas, en los estudiantes de grado quinto de la institución educativa Jorge Eliecer Gaitán de Sabanalarga, Casanare.(Fundación Universitaria Los Libertadores. Sede Bogotá., ) Bohórquez Vega, Nidia Consuelo; Cuervo Gamboa, Luz MarinaThe purpose of this paper is to show how a virtual learning object (VLO) is developed, through eXeLearning as a digital strategy to reinforce the development of communication skills. It is due to the fact of observing difficulties related to reading and writing in fifth grade elementary school students in Jorge Eliécer Gaitán school which is located in Sabanalarga Casanare. The methodology used corresponds to action research in which a social problem is addressed and it is expected to contribute in a positive way. In order to achieve the proposed objective, information was initially collected using field diary instrument. Through that instrument problems related to writing and texts comprehension were identified which affect students’ academic performance. Taking advantage of Information and Communication Technologies- ICTs, new resources are designed to improve these skills and they are integrated to create OVA. It is expected to be attractive for the students and when used will help to the development of their skills.
