Sede Bogotá., ) Benito Sanabria, Gloria Isabel; Flórez Huertas, Nelson EnriqueThe observed and experienced school contexts allow us to deduce that third-grade students have difficulties in communicating knowledge about (readings, stories, games) and some recreational activities, which require expressing the intention of the educator. In the instruments used by the teacher to evaluate, it is evidenced that most of them have reading comprehension difficulties both in written form and in verbal form, it is a problem to which solutions are sought, to continuously offer a better process and development to the students from there as an interest support the strengthening of communication skills and mitigate the low academic results in the various subjects. The proposal is to take play as a pedagogical tool, as well as a strategy to design learning environments where reading comprehension will be a process that will favor thinking abilities and give optimal results in the different subjects for their academic performance in students of 3rd grade of the INEM College Francisco de Paula Santander of the town 8 of Kennedy. When creating learning environments, a teaching-learning relationship will be observed between teachers and students, interacting and participating in order to learn related concepts in each activity. Human learning is related to education and personal development. This should be properly oriented and is favored when the individual is motivated because the person appropriates knowledge, in its different dimensions: concepts, procedures, attitudes and values.
