Sede Bogotá., ) Andrade Ocampo, Emilsen Yaned; Collo Gutiérrez, Melba Ruth; Camargo Portela, Brigitte PaolaThis proposal was developed with the intention of proposing recreational activities as a pedagogical tool as a consolidation mechanism to counteract the possible causes that cause school dropout or dropout in the fourth grade of the Institución Educativa Polindara Agropecuaria, which is located in the Polindara Town of the Municipality of Totoró to the East of the Department of Cauca. Activity that was carried out with the qualitative method to solve the problems that put students in a quagmire of discerning between giving up or continuing with their studies. Once the factors have been identified, it is necessary to have knowledge about the pedagogical strategies that can reduce student dropout in the Educational Institution. For this, a descriptive methodology is used where three surveys will be applied, one to students, one to teachers and one to parents. Playful activities are also described that are part of the proposal called: I say no to desertion, living my vocation, designed under the Action Research methodology to achieve the necessary persuasion in students, preventing this problem from continuing. This proposal consists of generating awareness of the vocation that every human being has, and that to live it it is necessary to develop and enhance the gifts of each person. For this, it is necessary to establish reflective didactic strategies that achieve a change of mentality in students and the importance of continuing with their studies, enhancing these gifts and talents.
