Sede Bogotá., ) Alonso Sanabria, Sandra Milena; Gómez Manrique, Nancy Yamile; Mojica Cely, John Jairo; Ortiz Franco, Juan VicenteThe present degree work entitled Ta-tum as a playful-pedagogical tool for the improvement of reading comprehension, shows how a technological resource can contribute significantly in improving reading comprehension. The general objective for the investigation was to strengthen the processes of reading comprehension of the students of the secondary school of the eighth grade of the I.E.D. Technician José de San Martín, through the use of the Ta-tum platform, as a playful-pedagogical tool. Through the Ta-tum platform, spaces were generated that allowed the learning of significantly and advance in a playful-pedagogical way in the reading processes with which eighth grade students through activities such as: thinking routines, tests of reading comprehension and textual productions, which show their strengths and weaknesses when reading. On the other hand, the methodology used for this project was mixed, the approach quantitative was carried out through the application of a pre-test and a post-test and the approach qualitative was developed through didactic sequences and thinking routines, to finally check if the activities implemented in the Ta-tum platform were relevant and contributed to learning in the improvement of reading comprehension processes. Additionally, it is worth mentioning that the sample consisted of 69 students, but It is important to clarify that the work on the platform was carried out in groups of two students, for from which the results of thirty-four works were obtained and evaluated. The results show that, through the development and feedback of the various activities proposed on the Ta-tum platform, students improved their analytical skills, of reading comprehension, they were able to synthesize and paraphrase simple texts and most importantly progressively worked on the four reading levels (literal, inferential, critical, and purposeful). As a general conclusion, it was evidenced that the use and implementation of the platform Ta-tum allowed the advancement and improvement of the reading process in eighth grade students.
