Being a fundamental instrument of the training and educational process of human beings, it constitutes a tool to access knowledge and the acquisition of new knowledge, with the capacity to favor the cultural and integral development of individuals, motivate and activate their imagination. Thus, from a research and teaching perspective, the objective arises to strengthen reading skills, fluency and comprehension in students in grades 4 and 5 of primary school at the Rosa Lía Mafla educational institution, Manuel María Villegas, in the municipality of Jamundí-Valle. from Cauca. Methodologically, it is a qualitative research work, with a view to putting the inductive method into practice, framed within an actionresearch design, with a constructivist perspective, where the academic evolution of the students is carried out by medium of skills, carried out on a population of 40 students from the 4th and 5th grades of primary school, belonging to the aforementioned educational institution, with ages ranging between 9 and 12 years. In it, the diagnostic test, the survey and the participant observation were used as information collection instruments, with a view to designing and implementing a didactic strategy that articulated the web 2.0 tools and the reading skills, fluency and comprehension, to finally identify the impact that this had in the cognitive abilities of the participants, being able to conclude that the didactic strategy: "The Gamified Resource, had a positive impact on the level of fluency and reading comprehension of the students who made up the sample, thus conforming, an investigation that responded clearly and precisely in terms of academic and educational excellence to improve educational quality, cognitive preparation and comprehensive training of Colombian children.
