Sede Bogotá., ) Acuña Torres, Camilo Ernesto; Camacho Torres, Diego Andrés; Alonso Gonzalez, Julian AndresThis research proposal is focused on providing an additional tool to a group made up of five teachers, regardless of their teaching area, interested in improving the quality of the production of their teaching materials or digital documents in general, providing them with specific knowledge in the selection of the typographic families, taking into account the topic to be taught and the group that will receive the knowledge. Teachers are dealing with groups of diverse students with specific characteristics, and by using a random typographic family, material with low quality, little or no legibility will be produced and this means that interesting or important topics do not have the expected scope. Therefore, over time the educational community will forget the material; will stop using it and it will also expire very quickly. Teachers who develop didactic material use various tools, including the computer, which is one of the most used, since it brings with it, software that allows you to create striking visual content. But it has been shown that when alphabetic and numeric characters are included, they do so automatically or by letting themselves be carried away by the suggestion that the software or the computer brings by default, ignoring that when choosing the correct font family, it will give to the production of the didactic material, personality, readability and you will be able to capture the attention of your target group. By carrying out the steps suggested throughout the virtual learning object. Teachers acquired skills in the correct use and choice of typographic families and with this educational intervention project, they will have a powerful tool which they can use to produce modern, captivating, legible and highly memorable teaching material, which they can share with their students.
