Sede Bogotá., ) Quintero Santiago, Griceldina; Acosta Carvajalino, Miryam; Mancera Baquero, JennyferWithin the Colombian Educational System (SEC), reading comprehension has become a topic of wide concern that has led universities, especially those with postgraduate courses related to education, to link this topic in various investigations as assumed through of the following project, which has as its general objective: Design a pedagogical strategy to promote reading comprehension through ICT in 5th grade students of the El Aserrío Educational Institution. Which assumes, in turn, a referential framework composed of antecedents in the international, national, includes a reference and repository of the university library; theoretical framework guided by Vygotsky's cognitive theories, Piaget's evolutionary psychology and Bandura's social learning; the conceptual foundation that highlights the keywords or descriptors that emerge from the central theme and the legal bases that will allow a closer approach to reality. The methodological structure focuses on the qualitative paradigm, the action research (AI) method, phases of the AI, direct observation techniques and participant observation, two instruments adjusted to the AI, the field record and the semi-structured interview. , descriptive design, population 172 subjects (students and teachers), school setting, guided by research ethics, validity and reliability, and information processing.
