Estrategias de educación ambiental para la recuperación de la fuente hídrica Caña Dulce en Cajibío, Cauca

Abstract

Colombia is a country whose geographical location is characterized by having a great natural wealth, among which the water resource stands out, which although it is currently in quantity, some populations do not have easy access to this precious resource and the educational institution The Plateau of the municipality of Cajibío, Cauca is no stranger to this problem, therefore the need to build a project aimed at the generation of environmental education strategies for the recovery of the Caña Dulce stream that supplies this educational community is generated. For the above, the Participation Action Research was used with seventh grade students, their parents and teachers of the same grade. This methodology allowed the educational community to identify the environmental problems associated with the area of influence of the Caña Dulce creek, especially in relation to the deficit of water resources and its contamination. Thus, it was the community itself that identified and designed the educational strategies to achieve the recovery of the Caña Dulce water source.
