La presente investigación tuvo como propósito la promoción de la cultura ambiental en los estudiantes del grado segundo del Colegio Champagnat en la ciudad de Ibagué, a través de estrategias didácticas transversalizadas para el cuidado, recuperación y preservación de los suelos. Se realizó bajo un enfoque cualitativo dentro de los procesos educativos de transformación socioambiental. Como técnicas para la obtención de información se aplicaron una ficha de observación y encuestas a estudiantes y padres de familia para indagar saberes previos y disponibilidad de apoyo en el desarrollo de la propuesta que se realizó. Los resultados demostraron que los estudiantes tuvieron un aumento significativo en el conocimiento ambiental de temas relacionados con la conservación del suelo, la biodiversidad y la importancia de prácticas sostenibles. Se concluyó entonces, que la implementación de estrategias transversalizadas promueve la participación activa de los estudiantes en proyectos ambientales y campañas de
concientización.
The purpose of this research was to promote environmental culture in the students of the second grade of the Champagnat School in the city of Ibagué, through transversalized didactic strategies for the care, recovery and preservation of soils. The results showed that the students had a significant increase in environmental knowledge on topics related to soil conservation, biodiversity and the importance of sustainable practices. It was concluded that the implementation of cross-cutting strategies promotes the active participation of students in environmental projects and awareness campaigns.
