Sede Bogotá., ) Álvarez Páez, Héctor Alejandro;; Nisperuza Toledo, Jorge LuisIn orbital mechanics the vectors of position and velocity status are the basic elements for the kinematic and dynamic description of any system in orbital mechanics, this description depends on an analysis defined by the problem of two bodies, which is focused on the analysis of the temporal variable. Taking into account the above and highlighting the need to develop a proprietary algorithm for investigative use in the framework of the study of interplanetary transfer paths, this grade work aims to develop computational routines in Wólfram Mathematica®, which will allow obtaining position vectors and speed of the planets of the solar system. Specifically, the equations related to the velocity and position of the planetary movement will be synthesized, and will be related to the design of deterministic algorithms, whose final result will be a computational code that will allow obtaining the position and velocity, for all the planets of the solar system, which will graph the relative position with respect to the sun of the selected planet. Additionally the planetary ephemeris will be revealed, which describe the positions with respect to a heliocentric plane. Likewise, there is a corroboration of the computational routines, they will be contrasted with the computational packages of the study medium, such as the computational package provided by Curtis elaborated in Matlab® and the specialized Stellarium software. This comparison will be mediated with a series of input data generated for each planet in the solar system. Defining this, an analysis of the results will be developed to finally validate the project
Sede Bogotá., ) Gil González, Edward Andrés; Nisperuza Toledo, Jorge Luis; Ballesteros Ballesteros, Vladimir Alfonso, (codirector)The calculation of interplanetary trajectories is an active topic of research given the constant sending of probes to the different planets of our Solar System. In this sense, this project addresses the development and implementation of computational codes in the calculation of transfer paths for sending interplanetary probes, making use of Hohmann-type paths with gravitational assistance in intermediate steps. In this work, the orbital elements and the graphs for the trajectories of probes sent from the Earth to some planets of the Solar System, as well as other types of planetary systems are determined, corroborating the results with missions already carried out and obtaining adequate transfer paths for the planets under consideration for a set period. The results of this research acquire relevance since they will be useful for the scientific community interested in future interplanetary missions, including the different international space agencies.
Sede Bogotá., ) Muñoz Ramirez, Sebastian; Vaca Rios, John JairoThe Computational Aero Acoustic field (CAA) has become in the basis of many Mechanical issues in the last decade specially in Aeronautical and Aerospace Engineering and is one of the nearly simulations nowadays and it requires a great computational power due the random order that manage the gas elements behaviors, For this reason in scientific literature is common to find that every single acoustic simulations is supported by computational fluid dynamics (CFD). The goal is to reduce the computational power that requires many variables on the acoustical phenomenon and this way create attractive methods to apply in many industrial fields where accurate results and short periods of time are necessary in the design process. In this case it will make a simulation to analyze the aero acoustical phenomena at the nozzle exit.
Sede Bogotá., ) Torres Suárez, Dina Vanessa; Rojas Olaya, Deisy Janeth; Vaca Ríos, John JairoThis project contains the step-by-step procedure of the analysis and comparison of results through the use of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) whose main purpose is to determine which of the three configurations designed (wing clean, wing winglet, wing tiptank) for the Vultur aircraft allows to obtain greater performance and efficiency taking into account the needs under which it was designed based on the requirements established by FAC (Fuerza Aérea Colombiana). In turn, the theoretical foundations of the CFD will be shown in general, used as a fundamental basis in the development of the project, in addition the design characteristics determined for the prototypes and their elaboration in 1:10 scale will be observed that will allow a clearer guide to the objects of study of the project throughout its development. This report will provide tables and figures that show the analysis process at each stage, which were essential to determine which of the three configurations provided better performance and efficiency of the Vultur aircraft, from which it was established that the wing winglet provides a better contribution to the aircraft in terms of the study parameters. Finally, the conclusions obtained at the end of this project and recommendations for future research projects based on the design and aerodynamic analysis of wingtip devices or improvement of the results obtained will be presented.
Sede Bogotá., ) Nova Gomez, Edward Mateo; Ávila Granados, Diego LeonardoIn this project, a high-lift device will be designed; it will be located in the upper rear section of the aerodynamic airfoil, in the area known as the extrados. The aim is to know the behavior of the airflow in the presence of the mentioned device, considering that it will have the ability to move both longitudinally and vertically; the analysis will be carried out through simulations in the software ANSYS Fluent. Based on the results of the simulations, the aerodynamic behavior will be analyzed, determining the effectiveness of the high-lift device in the main stages of flight, such as take-off, landing and cruise flight. Due to the importance of hyper-lift surfaces in an aircraft, it is required a configuration that increases the lift in the take-off phase, keeping drag as low as possible, this together with a landing configuration that generates high lift along with a high drag index, and finally allow the highest lift/drag ratio to be achieved in the cruise phase. The previous scenarios will be an indication of the efficiency of the design to be studied

Sede Bogotá., ) Prado Suquila, Cristian Camilo; Rodrıguez Aragon, Juan David; Velasquez Cifuentes, David Santiago; Lozano Tafur, CristianPhotovoltaic solar systems are non-conventional sources of renewable energy that reduce the environmental impact produced by traditional energy sources. This technology has been on the rise for more than 20 years, however, in Colombia its implementation has been gradual. The airport sector is an industry that generates high emissions due to the secondary sources that airports have, since these are made up of generators that work with Diesel; In the case of the island of San Andrés, being a territory that is not connected to the other regions of the country, it bases its energy generation on fossil sources. Colombia has a high potential for harnessing solar energy as it is located on the equator; In this case, the island of San Andrés is located in the Colombian Insular Caribbean, the region that receives the greatest amount of solar radiation in the country, therefore, the use of renewable sources based on solar energy is highly recommended.

Sede Bogotá., ) Ortíz Rodríguez, Margie Catalina;; Rey Pinzón, AugustoThe Colombian State has recognized the Special Administrative Unit of Civil Aeronautics as a competent and responsible ATS authority in the provision of Air Traffic services exclusively in the sovereign airspace or that which the sea assigned to Colombia. The person responsible for the provision of air traffic services, beyond complying with the various ICAO requirements, needs to create a mechanism that provides sufficient capacity to meet the demand for air traffic during peak hours. That is why it is very important that the units involved in the Planning, Organization and Control of the Colombian Airspace can have an overview of the factors that are interfering with the System's capacity. To meet the demand, ATC bodies are generally divided into sectors and those responsible are responsible for flight safety in each sector. It can be said that the ATC capacity is the number of flights that can be managed by the controllers of that ATC body in a period of time. In order to carry out the Capacity Determination in Colombian airspace, especially in the NE UTA Bogotá sector, the Regulatory Circular “Methodology of Measurement and Calculation for the Determination of the Capacity of the ATC sectors of the Centers and Rooms Radar control. " For the analysis of NE UTA Bogotá airspace capacity, the capacity of the ATC system was focused, highlighting concepts that are fundamental as indicators for Capacity Calculation, such as the workload and the importance of the observable tasks performed by the controller aerial. The model used to analyze the workload is DORATASK where the workload is calculated by the sum of the time taken by the controller to carry out all the tasks related to the traffic flow
