Through physical activity can contribute to an improvement in communication skills, good relationships, both in the family as well as in the institution, increase in the tolerance process given in the work of group and in activities that require greater participation, implementing various playful pedagogical tools that allow greater performance and better growth affective partner of the student. For this reason, identifying and strengthening interaction skills social, presents great importance in solving problems, aimed at providing the student, satisfactory elements that lead to good academic performance and better conditions of empathy and work, typical of a professional role. Thus, the objective of this work seeks to identify and strengthen the skills of social interaction of ninth-semester students of the physical education degree of the CESMAG University of San Juan de Pasto, as a fundamental tool for development professional.

Sede Bogotá., ) Manrique Hernández, Jaiber Gustavo; Nocua Sarmiento, Efraín AlonsoThis research project entitled "Technology-mediated physical activity to strengthen selective attention levels in third grade children" aims to strengthen selective attention levels in students through the implementation of technology-mediated physical activity. For this, a mixed approach was obtained that combines quantitative and qualitative methods, being classified as a sequential explanatory study, where the quantitative results were used to inform the collection of qualitative data. Data collection was done through standardized tests, observation, and surveys. The results obtained allowed us to identify the levels of selective attention in the students, which led to the implementation of a didactic proposal to strengthen selective attention through physical activity and technology as complementary tools. In addition, the institution's teachers were included in moments of reflection and discussion on the importance of this topic. In the same way, it was found that the combination of technology and physical activity presented a more dynamic and attractive learning experience, which decreased the levels of selective attention by maintaining attentional focuses on specific tasks and avoiding distractions. This was established by implementing the standardized test again. Likewise, the academic performance of the students participating in the project improved compared to the initial data.
