Observing with concern the low level of performance and low results in external evaluations, which the students of the Maravelez Rural Educational Institution have obtained, prompted by various factors as explained in the extension of the work, the concern and need to seek a solution arises. o a method that helps mitigate the shortcomings that arise in the application of mathematics in the context, inside and outside the classroom; giving rise to the present investigation; which focuses on the bibliometric analysis of research works related to pedagogical strategies that have contributed to enhancing mathematical skills and thus moderate low academic performance in the area of mathematics.

The research has a mixed approach where the TMMS 24 survey adapted to boys and girls aged 6 to 8 years was applied and an in-depth interview with first-grade boys and girls from the Colegio Liceo Femenino Mercedes Nariño IED in the city of Bogotá and the Clemente Manuel Zabala Educational Institution in the city of Cartagena, within the results it is evidenced that parenting practices do significantly influence emotional intelligence and these in turn in academic performance.

The foregoing motivates to carry out a more in-depth investigation on what are the causes that lead students to have a low performance in the area of Spanish Language, to look for a playful strategy mediated by ICT that allow solving the problem and increasing performance levels for students to move through the grade, acquiring the necessary skills and generating significant learning and thus guaranteeing a satisfactory academic grade. The strategy that was implemented is in line with the constructivist pedagogical model that implies commitment, both from students and teachers, starting from previous knowledge, situational aspects that highlight the knowledge of students and the way in which they are resolved significantly by the students.

Where over the years it has been possible identify frequent underachievement in the subject. Being the social sciences an object of learning in all educational grades, as a possible solution to this problem leads us to design a pedagogical strategy supported by cooperative learning in order to contribute to improve academic aspects and also aspects related to affective, social and culture of the students. For the development of this research, the mixed methodology was used. based on action research and quantitative and qualitative techniques for the collection and analysis of information. Regarding the quantitative technique, the survey was used to collect and measure the information in the initial phases and establish the factors that trigger poor performance; Y in the final phase, to determine the effectiveness of the designed didactic strategy. as tools qualitative techniques are used, documentary analysis, and participant observation in the spaces academics with eighth grade students. - ÍtemFactores asociados al bajo rendimiento escolar en los estudiantes de básica secundaria del CER La Fortuna.(2024-02-05) Serna Montenegro, Gisel Sthepfany; Vélez, Yermis Fabián; Rodríguez Pérez, María VictoriaEl Centro Educativo Rural La Fortuna, ubicado en San Calixto, región del Catatumbo, ofrece en su sede principal educación de básica secundaria (grados 6° a 9°) bajo el modelo educativo de Postprimaria. Esta región, ha enfrentado conflictos armados, cultivos ilícitos, abandono estatal, pobreza, bajos niveles de alfabetización, y vías en pésimo estado. A lo que añade que los estudiantes del Centro Educativo presentan un muy bajo rendimiento académico tanto en boletines como en las pruebas “Evaluar para Avanzar”, e igualmente con alto riesgo de deserción escolar. El presente trabajo aborda los factores que afectan negativamente el rendimiento académico para proyectar una estrategia educativa que los ayuden a alcanzar su potencial y tener éxito en su educación, además, contribuye al logro del Objetivo de Desarrollo Sostenible 4: Educación de Calidad. Esta investigación de enfoque cualitativo y diseño fenomenológico hermenéutico se realizó con una muestra no probabilista de muestreo intencional de 45 estudiantes, 35 padres y 3 docentes, usando como instrumento la entrevista semiestructurada. Los principales factores identificados en estudiantes incluyen estrés, incertidumbre, falta de motivación y deseos de desertar (personales); falta de acompañamiento por padres (familiares); inadecuados hábitos de estudio, interrupciones repetidas en el aula, caminar largas distancias para asistir a clases (escolares); necesidad de trabajar en el campo para generar ingresos, ausencia de medios de transporte, limitación para acceder a material pedagógico y herramientas tecnológicas (socioeconómicos). Por otra parte, se requieren más docentes, recursos educativos y espacios formativos como huerta escolar, biblioteca, laboratorio y sala de cómputo. Finalmente, se genera el “proyecto de vida” como estrategia que permita mejorar el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes y cumpliendo con los objetivos educativos.

Núcleo Escolar Rural Caloto in the municipality of Caloto, department of Cauca, to strengthen the skills of socioemotional competence, since most of them are apathetic and have little interest in participating in class, sharing opinions and ideas, working as a team and sharing with classmates. By means of a methodology with a mixed approach and action-research type, the information of the Emotional Development Questionnaire for Secondary Education CDE - SEC is compiled with 36 statements that allow evaluating the socioemotional competencies and micro competencies, taking as main reference the researcher and theorist Rafael Bisquerra Alcina and his studies on socioemotional competencies and emotional education and basic competencies for life. As a result of the study, a methodological proposal is presented that involves two didactic games that encourage participation, communication and interaction between and with classmates and teachers. As this proposal has not been implemented, it is recommended that the CDE-SEC questionnaire be applied again to validate the positive or negative impact on students and their communicative process.

Sede Bogotá., ) Peña Mosquera, Delia María; Rodríguez Montaño, Daisy Marleny; Ortiz Franco, Juan VicenteThis research focuses on relevant problems of the Colombian society and particularly of Valle de Cauca; it constitutes a means to mitigate the consequences of violence that is visible in educational environments such as coexistence and its impact on the academic performance of educational institutions in the municipality of Jamundí, where aggressive behaviors of students are evidenced, creating distraction, conflicts in the classroom and in the school environment, being all these, some of the problems associated with the context. Therefore, the question posed for this research is: What are the factors of school coexistence that influence the teaching and learning processes and affect the development of peaceful environments in the educational institutions of the municipality of Jamundí? From this, it is proposed as an objective, to contribute with the improvement of healthy coexistence in the educational institutions of the municipality of Jamundí to strengthen the teaching and learning processes and the integral formation of the students; for the achievement of this, some factors that affect coexistence were identified, among them: social, personal, family and school, which therefore influence the teaching and learning processes. Subsequently, a proposal is structured to contribute to the improvement of institutional academic and coexistence conditions, under the construction of peace cultures, fostering positive social relations, self-knowledge, emotion management and conflict resolution among the participants. The methodological approach is qualitative, descriptive in nature, since it consults the experiences in different contexts of three actors: students, teachers and parents.

This study sought to determine the factors that influenced the low academic performance of the students of the Multigrade Classroom of the El Reparo Educational Center, Korea headquarters, in order to propose didactic strategies based on the game that allow strengthening learning. A qualitative approach study is used in the methodological framework, considering Action Research relevant; Likewise, in this project, 24 students who make up the Multigrade Classroom and 17 parents who belong to the Korea campus were taken as a sample. The instruments used were the qualitative survey and the semi-structured interview, which were applied to the sample of the selected population. The results showed that the factors with the greatest influence on poor academic performance in their order were family, educational and cultural.

Sede Bogotá., ) Guzmán Mora, Adalberto; Guzmán Mora, Enderson Luis; Rodríguez Pérez, María VictoriaThe general objective of this research was to determine the level of motivation towards learning presented by elementary school students regarding their learning process at the El Reparo Educational Center in the municipality of Planeta Rica, Córdoba. It was based on a non-experimental, transectional, descriptive, quantitative research approach, and a survey was used to collect information. The selected sample consisted of 59 students, and the information collected was analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results show that there is a higher level of extrinsic motivation in female students than in male students. Eighty percent of parents do not provide adequate support for the students' academic activities. It was concluded that third grade students have a higher level of extrinsic motivation than fourth and fifth grade students, and that one factor that influences this is the teacher's practice. The factors that affect the students' motivation are the context, the family and the teacher, which become preponderant elements in the behavior and a factor that leads to their cognitive foundation.

By means of a descriptive analysis with a mixed approach and using tools such as a test before and after the implementation of the didactic sequence, and the field diary, 47 fifth grade students of the Simón Bolívar Commercial Technical Educational Institution - IETCSB were taken to practice the Reelanza game to increase knowledge in addition with natural numbers, obtaining a favorable result in the subsequent tests and noticing in the students and teacher interest aimed at consolidating learning and strengthening their academic performance in this and other areas of knowledge.

Sede Bogotá., ) Ochoa Galindo, Aiby Yaneth; Garcia Orjuela, Erly MercedezThis research focuses on the design of a teacher training proposal that helps to improve teaching practice, where the question that guides the study is related to specifying the aspects that should be considered in a teacher training proposal that responds to the attention to diversity. Based on this question, the general objective was to design a teacher training program at Francisco Antonio Zea College, which responds to attention to diversity, based on the principles of education for all, in coherence with global, national and local policies. Three specific objectives were set and developed in three phases of research. The study was carried out within the qualitative research approach, based on a type of research called Research – Action (I.A.), for which research instruments were used consisting of a semi-structured interview, participatory observation, analysis of Syrian teachers in the field, a teacher characterization questionnaire and the open index of inclusive education to the 17 teachers who made up the sample. the results of the research are a marked improvement in teachers' pedagogical practice and their visualization of diversity as an opportunity for change
- ÍtemRelación entre el uso del celular y el rendimiento académico en estudiantes de los grados 8 y 9 de la Institución Educativa Simón Bolívar sede principal de Zarzal Valle del Cauca.(2024-02-16) Marín Libreros, Andrés Felipe; Palacio Libreros, Lina Marcela; García Cano, LupeEn la era digital, el celular no solo refleja un objeto presente en la vida cotidiana, sino que tiene la capacidad de moldear el equilibrio entre la tecnología, la educación y la esencia misma de la experiencia estudiantil. Por ello, desde la doble labor docente e investigadora, se propone el objetivo de determinar el uso dado al celular y si existe una relación entre este y el rendimiento académico en alumnos de los grados 8 y 9 de la Institución Educativa Simón Bolívar sede principal de Zarzal Valle del Cauca. Para ello se lleva a cabo una investigación cuantitativa, de tipo correlacional, con una muestra de 214 educandos de los grados octavo y noveno de dicha Institución, utilizando como instrumentos para la recolección de información, un cuestionario de encuesta, y una matriz de registro de calificaciones, analizando los datos conseguidos, y relacionándolos mediante la prueba Chi Cuadrado, cuyos resultados confirmaron la existencia de una asociación estadísticamente significativa entre las variables analizadas, concluyéndose que la distribución observada difiere de manera significativa de la distribución esperada bajo la hipótesis nula de independencia. Este resultado implica que las calificaciones de los estudiantes están de manera estrecha y relevante, vinculadas al tiempo que destinan al empleo del celular con fines académicos, hallazgos sobre los cuales se propone una estrategia didáctica para desarrollar habilidades digitales esenciales en estudiantes de 8º y 9º grado, fomentando el uso responsable de la tecnología con el fin de mejorar su rendimiento académico y prepararlos para enfrentar los desafíos del mundo digital.

Hence, the present study aimed to strengthen the areas of natural sciences, mathematics and technology for the ninth grade through the use of the STEM approach methodology. The research was carried out from the mixed approach; At a quantitative level, descriptive statistics were used, and at a qualitative level, action research was used with the purpose of focusing and directing the proposed strategy. The quantitative and qualitative results indicated the need to implement a pedagogical strategy that would strengthen the teaching process. After the implementation of the proposal, it was concluded that thanks to the comprehensiveness of the STEM approach combined with collaborative work, the teaching process was strengthened, motivating students to actively participate in the construction of knowledge, generating interest mainly in technological and educational aspects. field research, thus promoting significant learning.
