Huerta Escolar en la Institución Educativa Fidelina Echeverry como propuesta pedagógica para el fortalecimiento educativo y social

Abstract

The theme of a pedagogical proposal based on the school garden is addressed in the research as a scenario to improve the teaching-learning process in the Fidelina Echeverry Educational Institution of Puerto Tejada, a municipality located in the north of the Department of Cauca. The main objective is to design a pedagogical proposal for a school garden at IE Fidelina Echeverry that promotes educational and social strengthening. The foregoing, taking into account both the escalating loss of the agricultural vocation of the population, the social and economic difficulties that this has represented in recent years and especially the ancestral legacy of peasant knowledge. For this, a qualitative methodology of an ethnographic approach was used, with a hermeneutic paradigm, through the application of the qualitative content analysis technique of the process and analyzing the survival of representative characters of the community through a questionnaire, with questions focused on To respond to the specific objectives established, local experts on the subject were also consulted in the information collection process, applying the interpretive method. The investigation allowed the formulation of the pedagogical proposal to significantly strengthen the educational and social process of the students of the I.E Fidelina Echeverry.
