La huerta escolar (Nasa Tul) como estrategia pedagógica en la recuperación de cultivos nativos y plantas medicinales

Abstract

The following research work, exposes the process of restoration of the Nasa tul vegetable garden, in school modality, through the recovery of native crops and medicinal plants, which are in a vulnerable state, due to the excessive use of transgenic seeds and absence of environmental culture; this proposal seeks to implement a pedagogical strategy that contributes to the improvement of the quality of life of the participating students and at the same time achieve a significant learning. The Sat Wesx Yat Educational Institution, located in the Resguardo Munchique los Tigres, Paez community, has the necessary infrastructure and tools for agricultural work, in order to achieve the objective of rescuing and preserving the medicinal plants of the regional culture. The execution of this pedagogical proposal will be carried out with the active participation of 15 fifth grade students of the institution, who will have the opportunity to carry out productive projects that in the long term will allow them to grow personally and professionally, in order to achieve the main goal, which is the conservation of native customs. The 3 phases proposed from the pedagogical route, allowed the development in the students of skills in the proper management, ingenuity, creation and dexterity with the tools of the garden and the recognition of the values of being, in leadership, empathy, group work and responsibility, framed in the recovery of native crops and medicinal plants.
