Abstract

The objective of this Teacher Research Project is to deepen from a qualitative approach, in the use of drawing as part of the pedagogical activities proposed by the teachers of the IED María Mercedes Carranza, in order to strengthen their work from the recognition of the development benefits generated by the drawing of first grade students, and how this exercise can be enriched by defining a clear intention during the intervention of the teacher and recognizing the expressive value that this possesses. Bearing in mind the objective of the research formulated, and the key concepts that define the scope of this research, an intervention strategy is proposed that consists of four workshops aimed at teachers. The first, seeks to perform a pedagogical mediation favoring the approach of teachers to drawing and its expressive value. The second, gives rise to the development of planning in conjunction with the teachers of the IED, prioritizing the use of drawing with a pedagogical intention. The third is aimed at developing pedagogical planning in conjunction with teachers in the first grades of FDI. Finally, the fourth workshop seeks to facilitate the recognition of the highlights that enrich the pedagogical intervention of teachers by using drawing with a clear pedagogical intention.
