dc.descriptionLa población ha envejecido desde sus inicios y actualmente el acelerado envejecimiento poblacional es un cambio demográfico que requiere atención prioritaria, para esto es necesario conocer en detalle las demandas de dicha población y los factores asociados a calidad de vida del adulto mayor institucionalizado, desde su percepción y la del personal de la salud. Se realizó una investigación cualitativa, descriptiva y transversal, para esto se contó con la participación de 10 adultos mayores institucionalizados en la Fundación Gerontológica Mi Segundo Hogar y cuatro profesionales en el área de la salud encargados del cuidado de los adultos, se realizó una entrevista semiestructurada diseñada para cada una de las partes participantes, acompañada de observación pasiva, para el análisis de datos se utilizó el software NVivo. Se encuentran convergencias en factores como; las relaciones interpersonales, funcionalidad, satisfacción de necesidades básicas y bienestar material, mientras que difieren en la valoración de la autonomía, inclusión social y desarrollo personal. Se concluye que los factores más influyentes en la percepción de calidad de vida del adulto mayor son: relaciones interpersonales, bienestar emocional y bienestar físico, y desde la percepción del personal de la salud es el bienestar emocional.spa
dc.description.abstractThe intensive population aging induces a demographic change that needs priority attention, for this, it is necessary to know in detail the demandsof the above-mentioned population and the factors that can favor the quality of life of the major adults. To attend with quality to this population must be an intention to expiring on the part of the institutions that receive them, this notion needs to be evaluated from the perspective of the major adult and of the medical welfare personnel, principal actors inside the care. Bv There was realized an investigationthat tries to realize of the factors that intervene in the quality notion of life from the perspective of the major adult and of the medical welfare personnel of the Foundation Gerontológica My Second Home.
