- ÍtemFactores que inciden en la enseñanza-aprendizaje de las competencias matemáticas de los estudiantes de 5º grado: caso de Institución Educativa Mayor de Mosquera(Fundación Universitaria Los Libertadores. Sede Bogotá., ) Villamil Acero, Edgar Hernán; Danna Buitrago, Jenny PaolaThe present investigation is oriented to identifying the factors that affect the teaching and learning of mathematical competences, specifically, the resolution of problems in fifth grade students of the Higher Education Institution of Mosquera, Porvenir Rio headquarters, under the institutional research line globalization and sustainable development, where participatory methodologies are required that motivate students to have autonomy, and promote the acquisition of skills such as critical thinking, the production of hypotheses and the resolution of problem situations in their context, turning them into beings active and participatory and this leads to social transformation. The methodology that guides the investigation, is based on a descriptive and analytical paradigm, under a mixed method, where the documentary review of the ICFES platform on the results of the SABER tests included in the period was used as data collection instruments 2014 - 2018 as information of the Integrated Enrollment System (SIMAT) of the institution included in the same period, the survey applied to the 33 fifth-grade students, the semi-structured interview for both the 7 teachers of the day and parents of students sample research. In addition, an observation guide was developed that was carried out in three activities at different times, typical of the area of mathematics (class exercise, math Olympiad and use of the PTA program book). From the data obtained, important information was acquired to identify the factors that affect the teaching processes of learning mathematical skills, and these are given by three actors: the family, since it does not present enough attention to their children with children. complementary math jobs at home; the institution or educational system, since it does not allow a continuity of teachers in the fifth grade, thus limiting starting and continuing with a process in the teaching of mathematical skills learning; and the same student, who does not assume a positive attitude and aptitude towards the development of skills in solving problem situations, which means that when facing the SABER tests and the institution's own, the results are not the most appropriate. Taking into account the above, it allows a pertinent reflection to be taken into account when planning the teaching of mathematics in the fifth grade.
